The West Coast – Beaches & Adventures
Koh Lanta’s west coast is lined with beautiful beaches, each with its own character. From long, golden stretches to small hidden bays, there’s always something new to enjoy. You’ll also find exciting caves to explore and further south a refreshing waterfall tucked into the jungle.
The Southern Tip – National Park & Lighthouse
At the far south lies Koh Lanta’s National Park, a peaceful place where you can walk through the forest, meet playful monkeys, and visit the iconic lighthouse. The views over the Andaman Sea from here are truly unforgettable.
The East Coast – Nature & Local Culture
The eastern side of the island is lush, green and full of local charm. Explore small Thai villages and don’t miss “Old Town” a genuine fishing village with lovely shops selling handicrafts, clothes and local products. From this side of Lanta, you can also venture into the mangroves rent a longtail boat and enjoy a serene ride through nature.

DIVING & SNORKELING
Enjoy diving in the beautiful Andaman Sea.
Koh Lanta is part of a beautiful marinpark with several great dive sites. Every site is unique in it´s own way and the dive companies are very proffessional with a lot of experience. They can advise you where to go depending on your experience and what you like to see.
We work together with Andaman Dive Adventure which is a company with long experience and professional divemasters. They offer both english and Scandinavian divemasters.
You can also choose to go on one day trips to nearby Islands with speedboat or longtail. There are several tour companies on Koh Lanta and they depart every day in high season.

LANTA ANIMAL WELFARE
We are very grateful to have LAW, Lanta Animal Welfare Center here on Koh Lanta. They help and take care of all injured, sick and poor animals all over Lanta and nearby islands. LAW’s objective is to relieve the suffering and pain of the animals on the island through sterilisation and care.
LAW receives no funding for this work and has to rely only on donations and here you can make a difference. Go visit the center, take some time to cuddle with the dogs and cats….take a dog for a walk on the beach, they love it!
It´s very hard to be a stray dog in Thailand and they sometimes suffer and live a very poor life. Your support is worth a lot!
LAW is located only 600 meter from Lazy Days, just ask us and we can show you the way.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SEASONS
High Season brings sunny days, vibrant energy, and picture-perfect beaches. The town is lively with visitors from around the world and there’s always something to do; from excursions and water activities to enjoying the many restaurants, cafés and beach bars.
Green Season is ideal for guests who prefer peace and quiet. Life moves at a slower rhythm, with a gentle mix of sunshine and tropical showers. While fewer restaurants and bars are open, there are still plenty to choose from and the beaches are often almost empty. This time of year offers a chance to truly unwind, connect with locals and experience the destination in a more authentic way. Please note that the sea can be rougher and some debris may appear on the beaches.
